Defending champions of the FA Cup, Hearts of Oak have drawn GPL side Elmina Sharks in the last 16 of the competition in a draw held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
Meanwhile, there is another Ghana Premier League affair, where Legon Cities will square off with Dreams FC for a place in the last 8.
The round also presents some interesting fixtures after Aduana Stars were drawn against another GPL side Berekum Chelsea with Bechem United set to host Kumawuman FC.
The qualified teams were grouped into two zones (Northern & Southern) considering the locations of the teams to avoid long distance trips for matches and to have more local derbies.
Nine Premier League sides sailed through from the Round of 32 to join teams from the first and second divisions for the round 16 draw.
