The FA Cup quarter final draw held on Thursday has seen Chelsea face top opponent, Middlesbrough while Manchester City will travel to the St. James Park to face Southampton in the quest to make the last four.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea avoided each other, but the Blues face no mean a side like Middlesbrough who have already costed several upsets in the FA Cup this season.
The 1996/1997 finalists of the FA Cup, Middlesbrough have already eliminated Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs from the FA Cup this season, and will now host Chelsea in the quarter final as they still seek their first ever FA Cup silverware.
Liverpool will play away to Nottingham Forest or Huddersfield while Crystal Palace host Everton. The quarter final matches will be played between Friday, March 18 and Monday, March 21.
