Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu has labeled Sulley Ali Muntari, Salim Adam, and Abdul Aziz Nurudeen as the engines behind the Rainbows.
These three midfielders have brought a sparkle to the local league and been the pillars of Hearts of Oak.
The trio is making headlines with their touches, creativity, control, and technique on the ball.
Muntari’s decision to return home and relaunch his career has touched the heart of the football lovers with the calls on the FA and Otto Addo to name the veteran midfielder in the Black Stars ahead of their upcoming game against Nigeria.
The 37-year old midfielder scored from a spot-kick to guide Hearts of Oak for the first triumph against WAFA in the GPL following their President’s Cup victory since joining the Ghanaian giants.
The Rainbows gaffer admits the three midfielders understand their job but it is left with his attackers and the defenders.
Responding to the performance of the aforementioned midfielders, the trainer indicated; “Currently, I will say yes because per their understanding at the middle you can see that is good. Is left with the attackers and the defense that we have to work on so that we can have a solid team.” Boadu disclosed after a 2-1 victory over WAFA on Wednesday.
