Former Ghana Black Stars midfielder, Agyemang Badu insists the players exodus in search for better conditions abroad is due to meagre salaries in Ghana.
The 31-year old midfielder believes the players would love to stay in the GPL if the condition is good.
According to the former Udinese midfielder, the players exodus will decrease if their wages in Ghana is good enough alongside the sponsorship.
With the top-flight lacking a headline sponsor, clubs are always struggling to balance their books including big boys Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
“The salary here is not good that’s why the players like moving fast from the GPL. Also, lack of sponsorship is part.
“If the salary and sponsorship here is good enough then they can stay for long.” Agyemang Badu told King Akuffo in an interview on Atinka Tv.
