Premier League holders Accra Hearts of Oak fans might not enjoy more of the play from their darling boy Samuel Inkoom in the Phobian shirt as the Black Stars defender has emerged a transfer target for Super Lig side Sivasspor, ghanasportspage.com has learnt.
Inkoom joined Hearts of Oak this month on a one year deal in the course of the 2021/22 league season, and has played just three matches for the Ghanaian giants. He made his Hearts of Oak debut in the Super Clash during the league match in Kumasi, where he came off the bench in the 63rd minute to played the last 27 minutes of the game.
He played the full 90 minutes in the FA Cup quarter final tie against Skyy FC, helping Hearts of Oak to a 1-0 win to secure semi final ticket, thanks to a Patrick Razak goal. He opened his account with a fantastic free kick goal against Elmina Sharks last Sunday in the match week 25 fixture of the premier league.
Inkoom, 32, has played in the Turkish top flight during the 2016/2017 season when he spent short stint at Antalyaspor, and his exploits caught the hearts of other top clubs in the Super Lig. The former Asante Kotoko right back has already won the hearts of the numerous fans of Accra Hearts of Oak, and they would love to see the FIFA U-20 World Cup winner to at least see out his one year deal with their darling club, and possibly extending a little further.
With the summer transfer window just about two moths and few weeks away, we gather that the Turkish Super Lig side Sivasspor have show huge interest in tabling an offer for Inkoom, which will see Ghanaian international return to the Super Lig.
Sivasspor currently sit 13th in the 20 team league log of the 2021/22 season with 42 points out of 33 matches with Trabzonspor leading the log with 73 points.
