Accra Hearts of Oak have issued official update on the medical conditions of four players ahead of the club’s premier league game against Dreams FC on Sunday.
The players include midfield machine Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen, defender Robert Addo Sowah, Daniel Kodie and Mamali Lawali. Both Nurudeen and Robert Addo Sowah have been key members of Hearts of Oak recent starting line ups in all competitions, but have been on sideline due to injuries.
Robert Addo Sowah picked up an injury in the club’s 1-0 controversial defeat to Asante Kotoko in the premier league game in Kumasi, and has has since not been in action for the club nor train with the group. Midfielder Abdul-Aziz has been struggling with thigh injury for few weeks now, but the club announced on Friday that the duo are back to training ahead of the match against Dreams FC on Sunday.
“Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen has re-joined his team mates at training after weeks of absence due to a thigh problem.He should be available for selection if he receives the ”green light” from the medical team”, Hearts of Oak said in a statement on Friday.
In a similar wordings, the club also stated that defender Robert Addo, midfielders Daniel Kodie and Mamali Lawali have both returned to training for their recoveries.
The club also used the same medium to express its condolences to its playmaker Abdul Manaf who lost his mother last Wednesday.
