Accra Hearts of Oak were simply unstoppable on Sunday when they took on Dreams FC in a match day 27 as they outclassed their opponents to win 3-1 at the Accra sports stadium.
Suraj Seidu scored a brilliant goal after Afriyie Barnieh’s opener to give Hearts of Oak the lead. The visitors climbed for a consolation goal after Agyenim Boateng scored from the spot.
Hearts coach Samuel Boadu made some changes to the starting lineup that played against Accra Lions as Richard Attah returned into the post to bench Richmond Ayi.
Hearts of Oak’s first goal scorer Obeng Junior, and Samuel Inkoom were the poster boys on the field play.
Barnieh’s hard work paid Hearts a first goal at the early minute.
The Rainbows had the third goal through an own goal from Abdul Jalilu. Dreams FC seemed to pressed hard but Benjamin York showed a master class performance which earned the team the third goal when he made a perfect cross.
Hearts of Oak midfielder, Salim Adams reclaimed his position. He partnered Awako in the middle.
The Dreams FC defenders were caught at rest and it caused then the sixth straight defeat of the campaign.
They haven’t recorded a win since their match day 21, 5-2 win against Great Olympics at the theatre of Dreams.
Samuel Boadu’s side are gradually climbing to the top of the table. With 43 points, they sit at the 3rd position behind Behind United who follows Asante Kotoko with 46 points.
