Accra Hearts of Oak super star Samuel Inkoom has commended his team mates for a great job done in their 3-1 win over Dreams FC in the premier league match week 27 encounter on Sunday.
The FIFA U-20 World Cup winner lasted 73 minutes in the game against Dreams FC, and as usual, wowed the fans with his mastery of display as goals from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Suraj Seidu and and own goal from Abdul Jalilu helped the Phobians cruise to a 3-1 win over coach Ignatius Fosu’s side to complete a back-to-back wins in the league.
Hearts of Oak, having struggled throughout the season in the last 25 league matches, have risen to the occasion getting to the ending part of the season, scoring 6 goals in their last two league matches against Accra Lions and Dreams FC to go third on the league log.
Previously, the fans of the defending league champions were skeptical as to whether their darling club could even finish within the top 4, but the two wins in their last two matches has awaken the believe in the fans that at least a top 4 finish is much more possible.
Following the victory on Sunday, star man Samuel Inkoom took to social media to commend his team mates for the great work done, and has charged them to keep fighting till the end to keep the smiles on the faces of the Hearts of Oak fans.
“Well done guys let’s keep on fighting as a team and put a smile on the faces of our fans @accraheartsofoak”, Inkoom wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
Accra Hearts of Oak will play their next league match against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park this weekend, a ground where the home side Bechem United have not lost a game this season.
Hearts of Oak are third on the league log, a place behind second place Bechem United and would like to avoid defeat against the Hunters when when they visit Bechem this weekend.
