Bechem United boss Kassim Mingle has discussed the preparations and plans ahead of the heavyweight clash against the defending champions Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Hunters will set up their title race ordnance to host the Rainbows at the Nana Gyeabour’s Park in Bechem on week 28.
Hearts of Oak are only three points adrift Bechem United at the 3rd position but the Hunters coach is optimistic to claim an upper hand against the Rainbows on Saturday after playing out a frantic goalless draw in the first leg in Accra.
Bechem United have not been able to beat Hearts of Oak in their last five meetings since 2017/18 season, drawing two and losing 3 to the Phobians.
Ahead of the crucial game, Coach Kassim Mingle has discussed their preparations with no fear as he goes in with the normal plans and same pattern.
“We are doing our normal preparations that we’ve been doing for the league matches. We will not do any special preparations. Playing Hearts of Oak is three points not six points or four points but is the same points that we’ve been playing with other teams so we are doing our normal preparations that we’ve been doing and we are not afraid any team. Is football. Is eleven vs eleven players competing for each side so you can’t say we are afraid of them. We played them at the Accra Sports Stadium at their home ground so we are going to play them again.
“Is football and the better side that day with luck being on his side will definitely win.” Coach Kassim Mingle exhibited during an interview with Ghanasportspage.com
The league leaders Asante Kotoko are nine points above the Hunters who are sitting at the second place after 27 matches.
With seven games and 21 points remaining to end the season, Coach Kassim insists nobody can predict the winner for the ongoing league but anything could happen.
