Former captain of Kumasi King Faisal, Michael Akuffo has boldly stated that his former side will fight to maintain its status in Ghana Premier League.
The Insha Allah Boys have been poor in the second round of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
The team was contenders during the first round, being the first side to beat the Porcupines, league leaders back to back both in the league and the FA Cup.
King Faisal currently sits in the 15th position with 31 points after 27 matches played. They are two points above the relegation zone.
But according to the former captain, the team will continue to fight to stay in the Ghana Premier League.
“I will say our position now is not good but we shouldn’t be discouraged. I am sure that we will stay in the league after the season. I urge the supporters to back King Faisal with prayers so that we will remain in the league. That’s my prayer.” He told Ghanasportspage.com
