Belgian-based Ghanaian forward, Joseph Paintsil is full of praise for Black Stars coach Otto Addo after helping the Ghana senior national soccer team to make a way to the FIFA World Cup.
The former Tema Youth player made his Black Stars debut during the just ended AFCON under Milovan Rajevac.
Paintsil was part of Otto Addo’s squad that qualified to the upcoming World Cup at the expense of West African neighbours Nigeria over two legs. Though the winger did not feature in the doubleheader against the Super Eagles, he remains an integral part of the Black Stars team and his services will be needed at the global showpiece.
According to the former Black Meteors player, Otto Addo is a blessing to the national team and it is good to have such a great leaders at the national team.
Speaking about Ghana’s success from the World Cup playoffs to book a ticket for the major tournament, he revealed; “It means a lot especially haviy such a good coach. He really understands players. Having this kind of a coach is a blessing to us. We have a young team and we need such a coach.
“We also have a captain who really likes motivating us, he is cool and it is good to have such a great leaders.” The K.R.C Genk forward told Accra-based Original Tv.
