Totti Laryea is the CEO of ‘Train Like A Pro Gh’ fitness centre at Nungua in Accra. The 26-year-old who was once a footballer became a professional physical trainer in 2015.
He previously trained Black Stars defender, John Boye, Clifford Aboagye and other top Ghanaian footballers.
Fitness coaches challenge players by increasing their performance, as compared to when a footballer or a player will train on their own.
The Ghanaian-based trainer also teach new workouts routine, improve their physical condition, and help increase their full performance, improve form, technique, skills, and diet plan to stay healthy throughout the season.
Totti is aiming to become a physical trainer of the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars of Ghana. His good works helped Gladson Awako who was the Captain of the ‘Dade’ Boys to shine in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League by storm with a world-lass performance.
The trainer also conduct a variety of assessments beginning with a preparticipation health-screening and may also include assessments of posture and movement, flexibility, balance, core function, cardio-respiratory fitness, muscular fitness, body composition, and skill-related parameters (e.g., power, agility, coordination, speed, and reactivity) to observe and gather relevant information needed to develop an effective exercise program and support client goal attainment. One of his dreams is to grow his business and conquer Africa to become one of the best trainers in the world.
