Legon Cities attacker, Hans Kwofie has disclosed that he has been sacked by his wife following an unpaid salaries.
According to Kwofie, the club owes him seven months salaries as well as his signing on fee and the situation worsened.
The former Ashantigold striker also revealed that, he is currently broke and depends on his friends and also the wife, claiming that has impacted a conflict in his marriage.
Speaking in an interview with Angel FM, Hans Kwofie cried out, “The season has ended but can’t go home. My wife has sacked me from the house. She says I shouldn’t come home because I’ll end up depending on her. I’ve not been paid for 7 months at Legon Cities.”
Hans Kwofie joined the Royals in July 2020 and became their top scorer in his first season.
The move allowed the prolific striker to link up with their former coach Bashir Hayford who mentored him a couple of seasons ago.
It was under the guidance of Hayford that Kwofie netted 17 goals at AshantiGold to win the goal king award at the end of the 2016/17 GPL.
