Asante Kotoko has signed Steven Mukwala from Uganda Mukwala until 2024 after a stint with Uganda Rivers Authority FC (URA FC). The striker has landed in Ghana today, Tuesday 2nd August 2022. The Porcupines are yet to schedule medicals for the talented striker.
The Porcupine Warriors have grabbed the service of Ugandan top striker, Steven Mukwala on a two-year deal following an agreement with the management of the player.
On Facebook, Mukwala posted some of his most memorable moments in a Rivers Authority FC shirt which was accompanied by a message.
Steven Mukwala Dese wrote: “I take this opportunity to thank the URA Football Club for the Chance it gave me to be part of its project.
The two years together have been amazing. I met great people at the Club who supported me unconditionally.
“I shared the dressing room with the most talented players in Uganda. But above all, I was able to work with great instructors, Coaches, and profound management.
“Saying goodbye is always the hardest thing for me. But I guess it’s time to move on. I leave with heartfelt Gratitude. It was such a great privilege to wear the yellow and blue Jerseys. Forever you will be in my heart”. he ended.
He bagged 13 goals in 22 matches to win the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League golden boot award.
Mukwala, the Ugandan national team member kept his performance, ending the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season as the top scorer of Uganda Rivers Authority (URA FC) after netting 14 goals in 24 matches.
