Management of relegated Eleven Wonders has dragged the Ghana Football Association to the Superior Court of Judicature in the High Court of Justice – Wenchi over the upcoming Ghana Premier League play-offs between Liberty Professionals, Tamale City, and Ebusua Dwarfs for the replacement of demoted Ashantigold SC.
The letter approved by the Registrar High Court of Wenchi states that the court is ordering for an interlocutory injunction on the upcoming play-offs involving the aforementioned clubs.
The management of the Techiman-based charged the Ghana Football Association (GFA), to be fair in their judgment to reinstall Eleven Wonders United back to the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
Following the demotion of AshantiGold SC to Division Two League over match fixing allegations, Eleven Wonders earlier submitted a petition to the Appeals Committee of the GFA to reinstate them back to the GPL which was fired.
Eleven Wonders, who were relegated from the just-ended GPL claim they are supposed to represent AshantiGold since the GFA laws say only three teams should be relegated at the end of every season.
