The Ghana Football Association has changed the date for the Super Cup encounter between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The game has been scheduled to be played on Monday, September 4th, 2022.
This is due to the crucial CHAN qualifier between Ghana and Nigeria which is fixed for Cape Coast and Abuja.
The first leg encounter will take place on Sunday, August 28th while the return leg comes off on September 3rd at the Moshood Abiola Sports Stadium where the Black of Ghana drew 1-1 with the Super Eagles senior side to book the ticket for the World Cup in Qatar.
The GPL winners will face the MTN FA Cup winners for the bragging rights at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The champions of champions is the traditional curtain raiser for the 2022/23 league season which is set to kick off on the weekend of 9-12 September, 2022.
