Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have wrapped up their pre-season tour in Sudan.
The Reds drew 1-1 with Sudanese side Al Ahli Khartoum in their last training game at the Khartoum Stadium in Sudan in Wednesday.
Having lost their last three games to Al Hilal and Simba, Coach Zerbo’s side fought hard to claim a point in their last friendly today.
The Porcupines left Ghana two weeks ago for the second phase of their pre-season training ahead of the new season.
Thy were thrashed by Al Hilal Omdurman 2-0 in their first game and lost 5-0 in the second encounter.
On the other side, they could not hold Tanzanian giants Simba SC in the third fixture where they lost 4-2 in Omdurman.
The team is expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday to prepare for the new season.
Asante Kotoko will start their season’s campaign with Nsoatremang FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and a trip to Ivory Coast to play Burkinabé side Rail Club du Kadiogo in the CAF Champions League first preliminary round of qualifiers.
