GPL reigning champions, Asante Kotoko have arrived in Ghana after an unimpressive ten-day training tour in Sudan.
The team after the second phase of their pre-season tour in North Africa left the country for Ghana.
Despite failing to win any of their four games played, Asante Kotoko will be hoping to win something meaningful under new head coach, Zerbo Seydou.
The club ended the 2021/22 football season as the champions of the Ghana Premier League under Prosper Narteh Ogum.
Steven Mukwala, Moise Pouaty, John Tedeku, Zeze and others are new signings with most of them taking part in the pre-season.
Kotoko begin their 2022/23 Ghana Premier League at home against newly-promoted Nsoatremang FC.
The will compete in three competitions this season (CAF Champions League, MTN FA Cup and the Ghana Premier League).
They will open the African campaign against Burkinabé side Rail Club du Kadiogo in Ivory Coast on September 9th, 2022.
