Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has officially announced his retirement from football at the age of 33.

The Ghanaian international is beginning a new career as an agent after 15 years as a professional footballer.

Kwadwo Asamoah began his professional career with Italian club Udinese in 2008; his consistent performances earned him a transfer to Juventus in 2012, where, with his energy, versatility, and technical skills, he played a key role in helping the club to six consecutive Serie A titles between 2013 and 2018, among other titles, although his appearances at the club were limited by injuries during his later seasons. He joined Inter in 2018. At the international level, he has represented Ghana in four Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, and two FIFA World Cups.

At the national team level, he was capped in 74 games for the Black Stars of Ghana with four goals.

The former Juventus left-back played for Ghanaian side Liberty Professionals before joining the Swiss side,
Bellinzona FC in 2008.

He spent 13 years of his football career in Europe, playing for six different clubs including Torino, Udinese, Inter Milan and Cagliari in Italy.

Kwadwo Asamoah to agent Pastorello: “Amazing time. Always a pleasure working with you Federico Pastorello.”

Agent Federico Pastorello: “Always the same amazing boy Kwadwo Asamoah!!! Good luck with your new challenge as a Football agent!!”
