The Aduana Stars midfielder was named as the BetPawa Premier League Player of the Month for September.
He beat off competition from his teammate, Bright Adjei, Medeama SC duo Kwasi Donsu and Kofi Asmah.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder scored two goals out of three games and won two MOTM awards.
He will receive 43-inch NASCO television from Electroland Ghana Limited.
However, the player has reacted to the awarded, expressing excitement and disclosing his target for the season.
“Am so happy to be named as the Player of the Month for September and at least I know I am doing something good so am very happy to be named as the Player of the Month for September. With this I can say that it is high as compared to last season because I scored only two goals last season and I didn’t get any assist but I won some MOTM awards.
“I have set target for myself but I can reach that with the help from my teammates. The team should also do something for the target to work so that I can see at least if I am not able to achieve my personal target the team will have something and see that we’ve won,” he said.
The Ghanaian top-flight league is currently on hold after after week three.
This follows a Motion on Notice for Injunction filed yesterday at the Human Rights High Court by Ashantigold SC and served on the GFA’s lawyers yesterday afternoon.
Aduana Stars are joint leaders on the league table with seven points after two wins and one draw.
