Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has confirmed that he will part ways with the Ghana national team after the FIFA World Cup 2022 with Chris Hughton or George Boateng in line to replace him according to GhanaSoccerNet.
The Dortmund tactician was appointed to lead the Black Stars until the end of the year. He was named as a replacement for Milovan Rajevac following the team’s abysmal performance at the 2022 AFCON held in Cameroon.
Otto Addo will be on the flanks as the head coach of the four-time African champions at the World Cup in Qatar, but does not see himself working beyond the tournament.
“I think, as a national coach, you should also live in the country you work for in the long term,” he told Ruhr14.
“But I see myself personally in Germany in the next few years.”
