Asante Kotoko coach, Seydou Zerbo has named his squad for the Porcupine Warriors match against FC Samartex 1996 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday (3:00 PM).

Isaac Oppong is back to replace suspended Stephen Amankona and should be ready to play 90 minutes and start up front for the team.

The Burkunabe has surprisingly dropped Maxwell Agyemang who is yet to kick a ball this season. He has been replaced by Yussif Mubarik. Other than that, there is no significant news on the team’s squad list.

Asante Kotoko will be looking to bounce back after they were surprisingly beaten 2-0 by Bechem United on Thursday.

Although the Porcupine’s gaffer wasn’t happy with the officiating he will put that one aside and build his team with confidence going into the tie.

He will hope to halt the visiting side’s four games unbeaten run in the Premiership. Samartex is without victory having held four times.

Kotoko’s match squad is as follows;

GOALKEEPERS

Danlad Ibrahim (GK)
Pouaty Moise (GK)

DEFENDERS

Andrews Kwadwo Appau
Sheriff Mohammed
Yussif Mubarik
Samuel Appiah
John Tedeku
Augustine Agyapong
Nicholas Osei Bonsu

MIDFIELDERS

Richard Boadu
Enoch Morrison
Justice Blay
Nicholas Mensah
Eric Zeze Serge
Ernest Osei Poku
Richmond Lamptey

FORWARDS

Samuel Boateng
Dickson Afoakwa
Isaac Oppong
Steven Mukwala
