Ex-Kotoko gaffer, Prosper Narteh Ogum will be named as the head coach for the Black Galaxies after the CHAN 2023 tournament in Algeria.

According to report filed by Ghanaian journalist, Nuhu Adams, the GPL winning coach will replace Annor Walker who took over in 2021.

Narteh Ogum together with Walker and Bismarck Kobby Mensah masterminded Ghana’s qualification for the 2023 CHAN tournament.

The 45-year-old tactician was part of three local coaches sent to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar by the Ghana Football Association on an attachment with the Black Stars technical team.

The locally-based national team have already opened camp to prepare for the tournament which starts on January 13th to February 4th, 2022.

Ogum will work as deputy coach to Annor Walker during the competition.

Ghana have been drawn in Group C alongside title holders, Morocco, Madagascar and Sudan.
