Former Asante Kotoko National Circles Chairman, Kwaku Amponsah, popularly known as Chairman K5 has boldly stated that the Porcupine Warriors will visit antoa before their game against Accra Lions on Monday due to poor officiating.
Following the team’s 1-1 draw with Gold Stars and their 1-0 defeat to Karela United over the weekend, the fans are alleging that referees in the Ghana Premier League and the GFA have turned against them.
According to Chairman K5, the Porcupine Warriors are at the receiving end of poor officiating and they will visit antoa before Accra Lions game.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Chairman K5 said, “All protocols have been observed and we are storming antoa on Monday before our game against Accra Lions to leave everyone who has an ill motive to work against Kotoko including match officials, GFA officials, past and we present executives of Kotoko and everyone working against the club”
The defeat against Karela United leaves the Reds in fifth place with 24 points – four points adrift of leaders Aduana Stars.
They will face third place Accra Lions at home on Monday and it’s a game they really need to win to close the gap on the league table.
