Legon Cities head coach, Maxwell Konadu says his side play was not the best game following their win on Sunday in the MTN FA Cup.
The Royals played out a 1-1 draw with Volta Rangers at the El Wak Sports Stadium on Sunday to secure a spot in the MTN FA Cup after seeing off Division one side Volta Rangers on penalties.
Konadu said his side must up their game on a performance basis as they were forced into a shootout with Volta Rangers.
“This was not our best game but at least, we are happy we progressed to the next stage” “In going forward, we need to do more in our games especially our finishing”
“When you look at our team, I think it’s possible to win this FA Cup”
The game went straight to penalties after a 1-1 score. Rangers missed two and scored three while Legon Cities missed one and scored four.
