Accra Hearts of Oak will be hosting Accra Lions this evening at the Accra Sports Stadium in the BetPawa Premier League.

The game kicks off at 6:00pm and will be live on StarTimes Adepa Channel 247.

The Rainbow will be facing their city rivals without goalkeeper Richmond Ayi. The former WAFA shot-stopper has been dropped from the matchday squad.

Caleb Amankwah has also returned to the squad after missing their last weekend’s game against Karela United.

The President’s Cup holders will be looking to bounce back after last weekend’s defeat but their opponent look much more solid. The are enjoying a phenomenal season and have been one of the top flight’s surprise packages in 2022/23.

Eric Ofori is expected to start in goal ahead of Richard Attah. Returnee Dennis Korsah will also join Konadu Yiadom in defense alongside Caleb Amankwaa, and Amankwaa Baafi.

Linda Mtange, Jeordon Otanga and Eric Esso will team up in midfield.

As expected, Isaac Mensah and Benjamin Yorke will support Albert Diego Dieudonne Eonde to lead the attacking role.
