Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak demolished lower division side, Apam City Football Club 7-2 in a friendly match.
Victor Aiddo, Linda Mtange and Amankwah Baafi each scored twice, while Benjamin Yorke added a goal as the Rainbows brushed off the lower division side.
The game, which was played at the Pobiman Sports Complex on Tuesday afternoon served as a preparatory test for Hearts of Oak ahead of their next game in the Ghanaian top-flight.
Coach David Ocloo fielded a selection of a first team players including Samuel Inkoom as the game finished in favour of the Rainbows.
They will return home this weekend, taking on Nsoatreman FC in a match set for a 3 p.m. kickoff at the Accra Sports Stadium in the BetPawa Premier League.
Having held to a goalless draw by Dreams FC over the weekend, the former GPL champions will be hoping to record a positive result to mount pressure on Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko for the league title.
Last weekend’s draw leaves them in fourth place with 39 points on the league table.
