Hamzah Mohammed is delighted with the performance from his boys after they handed Hearts of Oak a heavy defeat at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Wednesday in the BetPawa Premier League.
The young tactician believes his side’s 4-1 victory against the Phobians is their best performance this season.
The victory saw the Tamale-based club extend their unbeaten run at home to five games and the gaffer believes the result will boost their confidence even further.
Asked whether he’ll consider this win as their best ever performance in the ongoing campaign, he answered: “Sure. There’s no doubt about that especially against a club like Accra Hearts of Oak. One good thing about it is that it will boost our morale. Going forward, it will encourage the boys for us to get the good result,” he told StarTimes.
Tamale City now sit 13th on the league table with 35 points – three points above the relegation zone.
