Accra Heartsof Oak fans praised Richard Attah for his stunning performance after their 2-0 win against King Faisal on Saturday in the BetPawa Premier League.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper managed to keep a clean sheet in his first appearance of the season for the Rainbows after missing the team’s last 28 league games.
Attah was handed a start on week 29 due to Eric Ofori Antwi’s injury. The former Legon Cities goalie picked up an injury in their game against Tamale City, which they lost 4-1.
In Saturday’s game, King Faisal had some golden opportunities in the second half but Attah ensured his side stayed ahead to pick a vital win.
He was showered with praise by Hearts of Oak fans after the performance as many noted that his absence affected the team.
