Kumasi Asante Kotoko humbled lower-tier side, Sporting Time FC in a friendly match on Thursday at Adako Jachie ahead of Monday’s crucial Premier League clash against Karela United.
The Porcupine Warriors took control of the game right from the kick off as they secured an emphatic victory through Richard Boadu Agadas, Enoch Morrison, Sarfo-Taylor and Clinton Opoku.
The win will offer the Ghanaian champions a morale boost going into their last three games of the campaign.
Following their 3-1 victory over Kotoku Royals in the BetPawa Premier League, Coach Abdulai Gazale’s side will now take on Anyinase-based Karela United on Monday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
They will then travel to the nation’s capital to face Accra Lions on June 3, before they return to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to wrap up the campaign with Dreams FC.
The Porcupine Warriors are fourth on the league table with 47 points – 6 points away from the top spot.
