The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has utterly dismissed a protest case filed by premier league side King Faisal Football Club against premier league opponents Tamale City FC regarding their Ghana Premier League Match week 30 fixture played at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.
In the said match, Kumasi based King Faisal alleged that the Tamale based side, their opponent for the match day 30 had fielded an unqualified player, Isaac Mensah, and filed a protest against the club at the Disciplinary Committee of the GFA.
Upon sitting on the case, the Disciplinary Committee has ruled that the player in question, Isaac Mensah who played in the said match was duly qualified to play. As a result, the outcome of the match stands and the home side, Tamale City FC who won the game by 4-0 go home vindicated.
