Asante Kotoko deputy coach, David Ocloo has admitted that lack of concentration led to their defeat against FC Samartex on Saturday afternoon.
The Porcupine Warriors suffered their third straight defeat in the Betpawa Premier League as they were beaten by hosts Samartex 0-1.
It was Kotoko’s fourth loss in 10 league matches, which left the Reds to a lowly 15th place and Ogum’s job in serious danger.
Kotoko’s former player, Emmanuel Keyekeh scored the winner in the 31st minute with an amazing free-kick to lead Samartex to a vital win.
Reacting to the game, Coach David Ocloo, who stepped in for Prosper Narteh Ogum during a post match interview with Startimes said: “I think we came with a game plan but you could see Samartex were more determined and wanted this more than us. During recess we also restrategised and came on strongly but it is unfortunate we couldn’t score.
Is this worrying times for the technical team? “Yes of course because the wins and the goals are not coming but we will go back and work hard.”
