Black Queens head coach, Nora Hauptle has expressed her delight after leading the Black Queens to a successful year.
The Norwegian said she is proud of her team for winning ten games out of eleven matches played in 2023.
She said that given the year the team had, they would enjoy the festive season to the fullest.
“I’m proud of this year we won out of 11, 10 games and I think we can have a nice Christmas,” Coach Nora Hauptle said.
Nora Hauptle’s charges ended the year with a 1-0 defeat to Namibia in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Despite the defeat, they have qualified for the tournament after winning 3-2 on aggregate after beating Namibia 3-1 in the first leg.
