Former Black Stars player, Yaw Preko says Black Stars left back, Abdul Baba Rahman has contributed his quota to the national team and his absence should propel someone to make the headlines for himself.
The PAOK Thessaloniki left back opted himself out of the Black Stars squad for the AFCON 2023 in order to focus on his club football and also take cautions regarding his injury situation.
In view of that, Ghana legend Yaw Preko believes the former Chelsea player always gives his best whenever he represents Ghana at various competition
“He has played for Ghana and has done some good things for himself by going to the World Cup; the time Ghana needed him, he was there. This time around, if he is not there, somebody will play. It is an opportunity for someone too to shine.” He told Asempa FM.
Baba Rahman has 50 caps and a goal for the Black Stars of Ghana.
