Asante Kotoko midfielder, Justice Blay could depart the Reds as his contract is close to running out.
Ghanasportspage.com understands that the highly rated former Medeama midfielder will be out of contract in January 2024.
In that regard, Blay would not finish the season with the porcupines if the club fails to offer him a new deal.
Blay, who is the fans’ favourite, has been one of the club’s best players this season. The Reds are yet to lose any game he has featured. He has played 8 matches, amassing a total of 641 minutes.
Blay has been a lucky player for Asante Kotoko this season. One draw, seven (7) wins out of eight games he has featured for the Porcupine Warriors only
At the moment, the club is yet to offer the defensive midfielder a new deal.
Justice Blay initially joined Kotoko on loan for the 2019/2020 season.
After becoming the fans’ favourite, Kotoko made the move permanent in January 2022 and signed him on a two-year deal.
Although injuries have hindered his progress at the club, he appears to have regained his form in this season for Asante Kotoko and could extend the deal.
