The Black Stars of Ghana drew goalless with the Brave Warriors of Namibia in a pre-AFCON friendly at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
From the blast of the whistle to kick start the game, Namibia dictated the play of the game while the Black Stars struggled in the first half of the game.
The first department of the game saw none of the teams putting the ball in the net. In the second half, Ghana, four-time champions of the African Cup of Nations improved their performance at the beginning. However, it was not enough to earn them a goal against Namibia who have never qualified from the group stages of the AFCON.
Chris Hughton made few changes in the second half but the Brave Warriors held their fort till the final whistle.
The Black Stars of Ghana will depart for Ivory Coast on Wednesday, 10th January 2024. They will play their first game against Cape Verde on 14th January before playing Egypt and Mozambique. Namibia are also in Group E with Tunisia, Mali and South Africa.
