CLUB FRIENDLY: Isaac Oppong shines as Kotoko silence Techiman Heroes

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club beat Techiman Heroes 3-0 in a club friendly played at the Adako Jachie Training Ground on Wednesday morning.

Goals from Steven Mukwala, Isaac Oppong and Bernard Somuah were enough to give the Porcupine Warriors the upper hand over the lower division side at the end of the 90 minutes.

The friendly match forms part of Kotoko’s preparations for the second round of the season.

They will also face Karela United in the MTN FA Cup round of 16 on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 before the restart of the GPL.

The Reds are third on the league table with 30 points after 17 games. They will make the trip to battle struggling Heart of Lions on week 18.
