Iddrisu Shaban, a gifted young player for Vision Football Club, passed away after being admitted to the hospital following a fall he suffered during training session.
Shaban had a terrible head injury from a fall, and after spending many days in the hospital receiving critical care, he tragically passed away this morning at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
A very great young man, Shaban developed as a very talented player and frequently represented the club during training and match days.
His most recent match was on February 10th against Tamale Dreams FC, where he contributed an assist and was a key player in a great victory. A statement from the club reads,
Our hearts, minds, and prayers go out to his Dad, his Mom, and all of the family and friends whose worlds have been turned upside down by their loss.
