Veteran football administrator (FA) Alhaji Karim Grusah has received death threats from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after partaking in ‘SaveGhanaFootball’ demonstration.
Grusah was spotted among the crowds and also spoke to the media during the protest on February 14, 2024, in Accra.
Speaking with Akoma FM, Grusah said some individuals at the GFA have sent him death threats following his involvement in the protest.
“People at the GFA have threatened to kill me all because I participated in the demonstration,” he said.
Despite the threats, Grusah insisted on fighting for what he believes is right, stating that “I am prepared to die, and they can kill me.”
The Save Ghana football protest which was spearheaded by some top journalists in the country was against the government and the Ghana Football Association for alleged mismanagement of football in Ghana.
