Former Ghana Premier League Champions, Asante Kotoko head coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has named a 20-man squad for their Matchday 19 clash Bibiani Goldstars this evening.
Asante Kotoko aims to return to winning ways when they host Bibiani Gold Stars today, Friday at 6:00pm local time at Baba Yara Sports stadium.
The Reds suffered a 1-0 defeat to bottom placed Heart of Lions on Saturday and look desperate for points against Bibiani Gold Stars in their quest to annex the League title at the expense of leaders FC Samartex.
Asante Kotoko are 4th in the League table with 29 points, having won 3, drawn 1, and lost 1 in their last 5 games. The Porcupine Warriors also boast one loss in 8 home games played so far, having recorded 15 points, scoring 6, and conceding 3 goals in the process.
Ogum side will face the miners without their captain, Danlad Ibrahim, Isaac Oppong, Nicholas Mensah, Richard Lamptey and others.
