Accra Hearts of Oak orchestrated a stunning comeback to secure a 2-1 victory over Nsoatreman FC in a nervy Ghana Premier League clash on Saturday.
Nsoatreman FC displayed a very energetic performance at the beginning of the game and took the in the 21st minute through Walid Fuseini’s strike.
However, Hearts of Oak started taking the control and got back into the game at the very beginning of the second half. Midfielder Salifu Ibrahim netted the ball in the 46th minute, which leveled the scoreline of the match.
The first goal gave a massive boost to the entire Hearts of Oak squad, which led them to make a classic comeback. Coach Aboubakar Ouattara’s boys continued pressing high in the second half. Finally, they found the net again in the 56th minute as Kassim Cisse scored a stunning goal.
After that, both sides tried hard to score more, but no one could break the defense in the remaining minutes. As a result, Hearts won the game and have extended their winning run in the league under their new coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
