Afriyie’s late goal inspires Ghana to beat Uganda in 2023 African Games final Men’s football final

Black Satellites completes host and win after beating Uganda to win the Men’s football tournament at the 2023 African Games.

The Satellites pip the Uganda 1-0 to clinch the gold medal.

Jerry Afriyie’s 90th minute strike out the dagger through the hearts of the Ugandans.

The final was a close contest with the Satellites needing a stoppage time goal to edge out their opponents.

Following the win, Ghana ended tournament unbeaten winning four and drawing one of their five games.
