The decisive moment came in the 79th minute when Mawuli Wayo capitalized on a goalkeeper error, seizing the opportunity to slot the ball into an empty net after Sharif Shuaib’s clearance rebounded off an opponent.
Reflecting on the victory, Aso, who was named the man of the match, emphasized the team’s relentless effort throughout the game.
“It wasn’t an easy game because we played against a well-organized team. Hearts of Oak is a good side and one of the best teams in the league,” Aso remarked.

“This is our first away win, and you can see we put in a lot of work and effort from the first minute to the last minute. Even when we were one man down, we kept fighting until the last minute, and with hard work and determination, we got the result we wanted,” he added.
