“Samartex does not scare us” – Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum ahead of Sunday’s clash

Ahead of their upcoming clash with Samartex FC, Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to perform despite the impressive performance of their opponents this season.

The Porcupine Warriors are set to host Samartex FC in a crucial Week 27 fixture of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

Coach Ogum made it clear that his team is not intimidated by Samartex FC’s position at the top of the league table. Instead, he emphasized that Asante Kotoko is well-prepared and focused on securing a victory in the upcoming match.

“The form of Samartex does not scare us at all. We are Kumasi Asante Kotoko and we can pull a surprise any day. The confidence levels of the players are high and if we go into the game with that confidence, we can get the needed results,” said Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

With the players’ confidence levels soaring, Asante Kotoko is gearing up to face Samartex FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, April 21.
