After their loss to Hearts of Oak in matchday 29 of the Ghana Premier League, Berekum Chelsea’s coach, Samuel Boadu, has issued an apology to the club’s supporters, promising them of a win against Asante Kotoko in their next game.
Despite their recent defeat, the Phobians managed to secure a crucial victory at the Golden City Park, ending a six-game winless streak.
Goals from Hamzah Issah, Linda Mtange, and Kasim Cisse propelled Hearts of Oak to an important away win. Boadu, addressing the disappointment, promised better performance ahead of their clash with Asante Kotoko, urging fans to continue their support.
“We are sorry for the defeat. We know they are behind us but I will urge them to keep supporting us. We will not disappoint them in our game against Kotoko” he said after the game.
Berekum Chelsea, currently eighth in the league standings with 41 points, will face Asante Kotoko in their next matchday 30 fixture. Note:
