Head coach for Dreams FC Karim Zito has attributed his side’s elimination from the MTN FA Cup to bad luck.
The team’s hopes of defending the title suffered a blow following a 2-1 defeat to GPL strugglers, Bofoakwa Tano at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.
With five games left to wrap the season, the CAF Confederation Cup debutants will now turn their focus on the Ghana Premier League as they hope to keep their status after Sunday’s FA Cup exit.
“Well, I think after every game you look at what happened. Sometimes there is something called an element of luck. I will say today that luck was not on our side.
“We created a lot of chances but putting the ball into the net was the problem I enjoyed what my boys did. The fighting spirit came especially in the extra time. They came in seriously to fight for an equalizer but luck was not on our side.”
The ‘Still Believe’ lads, who rank will next play Bechem United at home in an outstanding league game.
