Ghana Sports Page can confirm that Glid Otanga has returned to full training ahead of Hearts of Oak’s crucial encounter with Aduana Stars.
The 23-year-old Republic of Congo international midfielder missed their game against Berekum Chelsea due to the injury he sustained on the bridge of his nose during their game against Accra Lions.
Now, according to reports, Otanga is currently training, hoping to be fit for Hearts of Oak’s next home game and their subsequent games.
The technical team have been eagerly anticipating the player’s return with assistant coach Abdul Bashiru revealing the importance of the Congolese midfielder and the problem they face in his absence.
Hearts of Oak’s recent form has been less than ideal, with the club securing two wins in their last 5 games, leaving them in 11th place on the Premier League standings with 38 points.
The Phobians will continue the Ghana Premier League with a mouthwatering home fixture against the Fire boys this weekend in Accra.
Hearts will then travel to Kumasi to face their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko, before playing Nations FC, as well as the Great Olympics in Accra.
