Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a 1-0 defeat to Aduana Stars in a matchday 30 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Kelvin Obeng broke the deadlock eleven minutes into the first half half, granting Aduana Stars a well-deserved lead that reflected their dominance throughout the game.
Hearts of Oak started the game with just one change from the team that defeated Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park. Glid Otanga returned from injury to replace Raphael Amponsah.
In a bid to push for an equaliser, Coach Aboubakar Ouattara made two quick changes in the first half but struggled to find the back of the net due to Medeama’s resilient defense.
Back from the break, the visitors, Medeama, maintained their relentless pressure on Hearts of Oak’s defense which helped them to secure the the maximum points.
Coach Aboubakar Ouattara made another substitution, replacing Salim Adams with Martin Karikari’, but Aduana’s defense successfully blocked them from getting the equaliser.
