Asante Kotoko has decided not to renew defender John Tedeku’s contract, signaling his imminent departure from the club.
Tedeku, who joined the Porcupines in 2022, is set to leave after the club chose not to extend his contract, which expires in August. Despite initially signing a two-year deal with an option for an additional year, injuries and competition for his position limited his playing time.
The 22-year-old left-back made 31 appearances for Asante Kotoko in the Premier League over two seasons but struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup.
