Hearts of Oak have initiated discussions with Berekum Chelsea for the services of talented goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekyere, according to Sportsworldghana.com.
An inside source at the Phobians has confirmed that talks with the 20-year-old goalkeeper have been ongoing during the last three games of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season. Sekyere, who has been in fine form for Chelsea, is being targeted by Hearts of Oak to bolster their goalkeeping department.
The Ghanaian giants are seeking to improve their squad after recent howlers by their goalkeepers and view Sekyere as a key addition to their team.
The youngster has been one of the outstanding shot-stoppers in the Ghana Premier League, keeping 12 clean sheets in 28 games and conceding just 31 goals for Berekum Chelsea in the just-ended league season.
